Weep for the Loss of What America Used to Be: Little Boys, Big Adventure
There are still a few places where traditional America lives. These boys remind me of when America was 90 percent white and white lads like these two could go off adventuring in nearby woods in safety.
Today, most children live where there are no woods, where the population explosion created by unfettered immigration has caused everything to be paved over into a parking lot.
According to the original source, the youngsters packed Oreos, water, pecans, and a carving knife and fork set. The woods were behind the fire station.
What a lovely picture that could have been taken 50 years ago or even a century in our past.
